COMPETENCY PROFILE

A sound knowledge of The Children’s Act
At least a 4-year degree, but preferably a Masters
At least 5 years appropriate experience
Counselling in a school setting including individual and group sessions
Play therapy knowledge
Possess sound interpersonal skills
Possess good communication skills between parents, boys and teachers
Be an enthusiastic, passionate and committed team player
The ability to work with boys from Grade RR to Grade 7
Computer literate
SACSSP registered or similar council
Police clearance
Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal
