Day 1
Selborne Primary vs KEPS
KEPS won the toss and elected to bat. Our seam bowlers started well with the ball and applied pressure.
This then provided the opportunity for our spinners to attack.
KEPS scored 122/10
Daniel Fourie 9 overs 34 runs 3 wickets
Oscar Vickers 5 overs 26 runs 2 wickets
We then set out to chase down the score, we lost wickets at crucial times but kept the scoreboard ticking over.
At the end we went past their score with 9 wickets down winning the match by 1 wicket.
Bryce Hansel scoring 52 runs of 71 balls.
Well done to the boys for showing great fight.
Day 2
Selborne Primary vs Lynnwood
A tough out on the field for our boys, Lynnwood won the toss and batted first. A match with alot of half chances that went the batting teams way.
Our bowlers toiled hard amd were supported by the fielders, with a strong batting line-up Lynnwood posted a total of 366/10

Selborne went to bat and started well with Cowan McDonagh scoring 55 runs of 50 balls and Aphiwe Ntamo 22 of 19
Unfortunately we didn’t have enough partnerships to get to the set score. We ended up on 139/10
Tough day for our boys, well done to Lynnwood for their performance.
Day 3
Selborne Primary vs Trinity House
We won the toss and elected to bat first. We had a good start with our batsman playing every ball on merit.
Cowan McDonagh again played an important knock of 48 runs of 78 balls and Hamza Langeveldt 23 runs of 41 balls.
We ended on 191/10 a decent total to defend.
Trinity House came our to bat and put bowlers did a good job and kept taking wickets at crucial stage of the match.
Trinity House had a good 7th wicket partnership that swang the momentum of the match.
They then went past our score with 6 wickets down 192/6.
Our boys showed up and played decent cricket. Unfortunately the result did not go away.
Well done to both teams for what was an entertaining game of cricket.
Coach Oss
Mr Gcilitshana joined the Selborne Primary team as Head of Cricket, and those who have come to know him will know that his energy and passion for cricket is contagious amongst the boys – and staff. We’ve asked him a couple of questions to get to know him even better!

To appreciate people in my life whilst they still alive. Show them love and appreciation. Let them know you love them.
What did you do before you joined the Selborne Primary family?
I was the Head Of Cricket in a Cricket South Africa post at Dale College.
Any hidden talents we should know of?
Apparently I have a voice for radio.
How many languages can you speak/understand?
4 languages English, Xhosa, Zulu and Kombuis Afrikaans.
Your favourite sportsman/woman?
Former SA cricket captain and Opening batsman Graeme Smith.
